        Koro Garmendia Galbete es una política vasca . Licenciada en Filosofía y Humanidades y profesora de secundaria, fue miembro del Parlamento Vasco en la legislatura 1986-1989, por el partido Euskadiko Ezkerra . También fue diputada en el Congreso de los Diputados de España entre 1989 y 1993. Se afilió al partido Euskal Ezkerra , que se escindió de Euskadiko Ezkerra . Al disolverse la organización, se afilió al partido EAJ y con él llegó a ser viceconsejera de Turismo del Gobierno Vasco . Entre 1995 y 2003 fue concejala del Ayuntamiento de San Sebastián por el partido EAJ-PNV.
